Building and Equipment Modules
The engineers at Right Six can engineer modules for transportation loads, incorporating features that limit the amount of field work and enhance operations while keeping owner’s fabrication costs down. Modularization only makes sense when it adds value to the final installation.
Oilfield Equipment
Our engineers have designed modifications to major manufacturers’ drilling rigs to enhance capacity and productivity. We can design new oilfield structures or modify existing structures to meet API requirements.
Overhead Cranes and Hoisting Equipment
Overhead monorail and bridge cranes can help with maintenance operations and production in factories and industrial operations. Right Six can integrate hoisting equipment into modular structures, retrofit them to existing buildings, and design custom solutions for difficult hoisting and crane problems.
Dynamically Loaded and Fatigue Susceptible Structures
Our engineers have experience with cyclically and dynamically loaded structures, including those susceptible to fatigue. We can evaluate expected fatigue life and assist with detailing to increase that life. For dynamically loaded structures we can help predict response and refine designs to increase personnel comfort and reduce machine vibrations.
Structural Evaluations and Retrofits
When existing structures need to be evaluated for new equipment installation or to determine their continued suitability, Right Six can help by testing the structure for load carrying capacity, and then incorporating changes and additions into the design of the existing structure.
